The Anti Bullying Alliance is established
There was not yet a national Anti Bullying Week, so there is no annual theme to list for 2002.
Anti Bullying Week has changed its focus many times. Looking back at the themes shows some of the different ways bullying, relationships, power, difference, support and responsibility have been discussed over more than twenty years.
This chronology follows the Anti Bullying Alliance campaign sequence. Anti Bullying Week has not always had one single theme across every part of the UK, and other national campaigns have sometimes used different themes.

These are AntiBullyingWeek.co.uk resources inspired by the historical themes. They are not presented as the original campaign materials from those years.

There was not yet a national Anti Bullying Week, so there is no annual theme to list for 2003. The Anti Bullying Charter for Action was launched during this period.
The first national Anti Bullying Week took place in 2004. A major campaign associated with the week used the message: Make a Stand, Wear the Band.
The campaign focus was children and young people's participation and involving children and young people in tackling bullying.
