ACCESSIBILITY

Accessibility

AntiBullyingWeek.co.uk is being designed to be usable by as many people as possible.

Our target is to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across the site. Accessibility is being considered as part of the design and build, rather than added afterwards.

What we are doing

We aim to make sure that:

For example, the Definition Wheel will also offer non-animated ways to browse the definitions, and the International Globe should not be the only route to the International material.

Fonts and readability

The site uses clear, readable typefaces and avoids relying on decorative text for important information.

The site currently uses a clear sans-serif font stack based on Arial and Helvetica for its main typography. Decorative or image-based text should never carry essential information on its own.

If something does not work for you

Accessibility can still fail in ways we have not anticipated.

If you find something difficult to use, cannot access a resource, or think we could make something clearer or easier to navigate, please tell us.

Email: hello@antibullyingweek.co.uk

We will review accessibility issues and make reasonable improvements where we can.
